Our first family adventure
There's an extraordinary amount happening in the little world around us.
The detail in a feather. The tiny creature making its way across a leaf. The first sign of something growing. Things we might walk past a hundred times without noticing.
NOTICING invites families to take a closer look. Through four hands-on encounters, an original illustrated picture book, things to explore, build, plant and decorate, and thoughtfully designed invitations to connect.
There's plenty for curious little hands to discover. And something for the grown-ups beside them, too.

More than the activity
Your child spots something interesting.
You stop to look.
They see one thing. You notice another.
And suddenly, you're both curious about the same little discovery.
It might seem like a simple activity.
But underneath it are opportunities to practise attention, observation and curiosity.
Between you is a moment of shared attention — an opportunity to exchange ideas, ask questions or discover something together.
And perhaps there's something for you to notice about the way your child sees the world.
We don't only design what children do. We think about what can happen between you while they do it.
That's the thinking behind a Project Becoming experience.
Designed in three directions
Things children genuinely want to explore, make, imagine and discover. With opportunities to practise meaningful developmental capabilities woven into the experience.
Something interesting to share. A chance to become curious about the same thing, exchange ideas, solve problems or begin a conversation.
Because grown-ups are still becoming. An invitation to participate, reflect and perhaps notice something new about your child — or yourself.
A closer look inside
An illustrated story that opens a world of discoveries.
A magnifying glass, a discovery pouch and little things worth investigating.
Seeds to plant and care for.
Four insect puzzles to explore through hands-on discovery.
A wooden craft birdhouse to build and decorate, with creative materials to make it your own.
Connection Cards that create openings for conversations, affirmations and shared reflection.
And a Family Practice that invites noticing beyond the box.
Each element brings something different to the experience. Together, they make room for play, development, creativity, shared attention and connection.

The story behind Project Becoming
Our founder, Candice Adams, has spent her career working with people across hospitality, education, health and wellbeing, coaching and leadership development.
And one question increasingly shaped her thinking:
How much of the work we do with adults centres around developing capabilities that matter long before we become adults?
Motherhood made that question profoundly personal. Not only because of who she hoped her daughter would become, but because of everything she was discovering, questioning and unlearning about herself along the way.
Project Becoming grew from those worlds coming together.
This is where we begin
NOTICING is our first experience.
But Project Becoming is being built for different seasons of family life.
Because children keep growing. Relationships keep changing. And the opportunities to discover something new about ourselves and one another don't end with childhood.
